MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
Firstly as it stands right now, PCWCC has elected to begin processing full refunds for all registrations for our in-house Micro & Mini soccer programs (8 years old and under). We had been anxiously hoping that some kind of season may be able to be saved, but in an effort to adhere to the social distancing protocol and with the cities decision to cancel all spring programming and all requests for permits have been cancelled through to the end of June, it does not appear any kind of season can be salvaged. We also understand these are trying times for some families and feel that refunding registrations is the proper thing to do.
Because the Micro & Mini soccer programs are community club run and controlled we have elected to begin processing refunds effective April 15th, 2020. We would kindly ask that you be patient as we begin processing refunds.
Secondly, there are several spring sports that do not fall under the control of our community club.
For soccer 9 and up, if you would like to withdraw your child now though, we will refund your registration fees back to you by the same means as which you paid. We would simply ask that you please contact the community club directly by emailing email@example.com or you can await further details as they are released by RRVBA, NESA, CSA, MSA and WYSA regarding the state of their respective outdoor seasons some time closer to the end of April. We would begin processing these requests effective April 15th, 2020 as well.

We are in desperate need of volunteer coaches - no experience required, and resources will be provided. Please indicate in your registration if you are able to coach.

City Field Fee
7 & 8 (2012-2013)
U7 play games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Games will be played at various fields and can start anytime between 6:15 and 7:30.
U8 play games on Mondays and Wednesdays. Games will be played at various fields and can start anytime between 6:15 and 7:30.
Season runs during May and June
Teams are separated by gender and year that child was born. If there are not enough children to make a team, we make every effort to place them with another club in Transcona.
Shin pads are required, running shoes are required (cleats are optional but recommended)
Jerseys are supplied and your coach will make arrangements for teams to pick them up before the season starts. At this time the $50 cheque made payable to PCWCC will be collected. Once the jersey is returned, you will receive your cheque back
The format follows the CSA Long Term Player Development (LTPD) format.

In ages 7 & up, Phoenix Soccer club is the organizing partner in this recreational program. They schedule league matches, run clinics for referees and coaches, gather convenors on a regular basis and host an annual tournament. Park City West Community Centre, along with the rest of the Northeast District relies strictly on volunteers to fulfill the coaching needs of our teams. Coach volunteers are in high demand and are essential to the ongoing operation of the soccer programs.
Coaches are provided with training from Phoenix and are required to undergo child abuse registry checks prior to the start of the season. All costs are covered by PCWCC. Anyone interested in volunteering can indicate their intentions during registration our contact one of the soccer convenors for more information.
