We are in desperate need of volunteer coaches - no experience required, and resources will be provided.  Please indicate in your registration if you are able to coach.

We will make every effort to have you play with teams from your home community club

Everyone has fun at this level!!! These leagues are designed to provide all players with lots of opportunity to touch the ball in a positive environment. They are designed to expose young children to the basics of dribbling, passing and shooting.

Teams are mixed boys and girls. Children of these ages will be part of the Tim Horton’s sponsored soccer program in which Tim Horton’s provides a soccer jersey to be used for the season and a soccer ball at the end of the season.

All of our coaches are volunteers, and without volunteers, we are unable to have a program! If you are able to coach, please indicate when registering.

Player Requests Policy:

Player requests will only be considered in the following priority:

1. Parents that are volunteering as a coach in the soccer program

2. Both players must request each other on the registration (one friend only)

3. Friend/Player requests will only be considered for age group participants (3/4 or 5/6). We will not consider requests that are made outside of the age group - No exceptions

Trying to coordinate the many player requests we receive each year, has made it difficult and time consuming to prepare the team rosters. We are also always short coaches due to our large soccer program. We hope you will consider coaching in order to help the program run smoothly.

The season typically runs 8 weeks. We aim to start the season at the end of April/beginning of May (dependent on the snow) and end around the second last week in June.

  • Players require shin pads and socks.
  • Cleats are recommended but not necessary
  • for the 5/6 age group skill sessions and games are approximately 60 minutes in length total.
  • for the 3/4 age group  skill sessions and games are approximately 40 minutes in length total.
  • Games will likely be located in Transcona - most likely Park City West CC or at Sir Winston Churchill (Canterbury Park Area)
  • Due to COVID-19 there will be no Jamboree this year - Fees have been reduced to reflect this.
